Today I will be doing a review of the Recaro Performance Coupe carseat in the Onyx color. This will be for our 3rd little one due in August. This is a rear facing infant carseat and a recaro carseat review for newborn, infant, or baby’s weighing 4-35lb.

I will show you how to install a car seat base and how to install a car seat rear facing into our minivan the correct way. The recaro car seat installation is super easy and the same goes for any baby car seat.

The RECARO Performance Coupe Infant Seat exemplifies performance in every detail. It is engineered to assure parents that their child will be protected with racing-inspired superior safety features such as full body Side Impact Protection, strap twist preventing safety-stripes and HERO harness technology. The Performance Coupe is designed with over 100 years of German engineering influence and quality American craftsmanship.

High-Performance Comfort
The RECARO Performance Coupe Infant Seat has best in class comfort features. The luxurious woven luxe and ultra soft percale fabrics are temperature-balancing and easy to clean. The cloud comfort memory foam contours to your baby’s delicate shape ensuring a fuss-free ride while the extra-large, multi-position canopy protects against harsh lighting and weather elements.

High-Performance Convenience
The infant pillow keeps your baby snug and can easily be removed when it is outgrown (for use from 4-11 pounds). The easy to read bubble level indicator and exclusive dual-adjust knob and QuickFlip foot ensure a precise installation of the base. Use the knob for small level to ground adjustments and the QuickFlip foot when you need those extra inches. The Performance Coupe also features an easy-off cover that quickly removes and reattaches, without the need for harness re-threading, for last minute cleanings. The 5-point harness adjusts easily with a one-handed pull and features 5 height and 2 buckle positions to accommodate your growing child.

High-Performance Safety
RECARO has over 100 years of precise automotive, airline and race car seat engineering expertise built into every one of our products. The Performance Coupe features deep side wings for full-body racing-inspired Side Impact Protection. The racing-inspired Safety Stripe System on the harness is designed as an easy alert to parents that a strap twist has occurred, or may occur, thus preventing a safety hazard. The HERO harness technology on the Performance Coupe offers both comfort and safety benefits. HERO is an exclusive, innovative safety feature by RECARO. HERO ensures the highest level of protection by positioning the shoulder pads to appropriately fit the child’s neck, head and shoulders while resisting harness twisting and ensuring proper chest-clip positioning. It provides superior comfort by keeping the shoulder pads positioned properly so the harness straps don’t rub against your baby’s neck.
