Originally from Nashville, Tennessee, we got married June 2013 and quickly caught the travel bug! We started “travel hacking” and taking more trips together and finally decided we wanted to travel for one year. After 2 years of saving $ and travel hacking over 2 million miles and points, we sold our cars and apartment and left home January 10, 2016. We started this YouTube channel to share our experiences with friends and family, then decided we really liked vlogging and traveling. So we extended our 1 year trip to THREE years 🙂 Now we have a goal of traveling to 100 countries before Nate turns 30 (which is March 20, 2019)! We are incredibly thankful to do something we love every day. 🙂

Arctic Foxman says:

I hate to burst any bubbles but although Turkish business class is fine it’s not great, although it is great value for money. Yes the lounge is nice too (and way better than Emirates business lounges) and the new lounge will be even better if you don’t get lost in it because it is truly massive! We travel that route out of KL sometimes to Europe using Turkish but compared to airlines like Qatar it’s pretty ordinary. We’ve flown twice in 2018 in their Q-Suites and they are truly a class above the Turkish business cabins and almost as good as the First class suites in Emirates and Malaysian Airlines new 1st class which is literally twice as much. Again the Qatar lounge is fantastic and their 1st class lounge in Doha is the best in the world.
As for Turkey itself, well it’s really worth taking the Turkish flight just to see Turkey as it’s a varied and interesting country and one reason the flights are good value is that the Lira is in a hole, so a holiday in Turkey is great value for money if you are using Dollars or Euros. As I have Turkish relatives I have to add, the people are lovely and will make your trip that little bit more magical, in fact we’ll be there in April, flying in on Turkish business class of course, RM26,000 (Just under £5,000 sterling) return for both of us…that’s great value even if it isn’t as luxurious as Qatar or the others.

Hi. Nice video. I’ve been to the Turkish Airlines Gold lounge in Istanbul and it’s true: it’s a great lounge! Question: On the Turkish international flights to Turkey and the US, what is the wine selection like in business? Do they offer champagne or regular sparkling wine? Thanks!

I find it surprising that Turkish airlines would give you free business class flights back to the US. I mean, it’s not like you guys have 1 million subscribers, you’re only 528k. You’re fun to watch, but I find it surprising. Sorry

subashh says:

I have flown with Turkish Airline before. Service on Plane 5/5 star. Service on Ataturk airport 0 star! Being an international airport you will hardly find anyone who speaks English there ! And yes should you miss your flight on transit cos of delay on your original destination , you are pretty much screwed!!!
