Ajit George Kuruvilla says:

Hi Josh. As an Indian living abroad I am glad that you had a good experience. However, my experience on Air India Business on the domestic sectors is average at best. I’ve yet to use AI on international flights because of the bad publicity and it just seems easier to use a recognized carrier such as Qatar Airways. If I’m paying for a Business level experience I prefer to go with the industry leaders. Great report and, yes, the airport at Mumbai and the lounges are outstanding.

Avneel Abhishay says:

The problem is people who fly Air India have never flown American or United, they would have greater appreciation for their airline if they flew a crappy one like the aforementioned

Som_ Fun says:

Um that business looked like premium economy

I can’t imagine what it smells like when fully loaded……

Hi Josh…did you say bed bugs…I wonder if you ever experienced getting by bed bugs in an airline…which one was it ?

Nishant Patel28 says:

Try Jet Airways First class on B777-300ER and Vistara Business Class

Semsem Eini says:

In the 1960s’ Air India offered the best best First Class and economy. My aunt flew First Class on a Boeing 707 New York to London and she raved about it. I flew economy on the same route in 1964 and still remember it was great. And I loved the Marajah with the moustache. My father flew Air India Constellation from Rome to Cairo because TWA was full. I lived i n Geneva and remember that they had 2 air crashes outside of Geneva. It was really weird. Legroom in economy looks narrow at 31″. Bed bugs? They had bed bugs on Swiss and British Airways. How long? 3 hours? Were you able to jump over your neighbour to go to the loo?

Gagandeep singh says:

Vistara airlines you should try this one

Vivek Beria says:

Favourite is Vistara and it did used to have a dedicated Vistara lounge at Mumbai T2 until they discontinued all routes from Mumbai except Mumbai-Delhi and Mumbai-Amritsar.

Loyal to Jet Airways as it has an extensive network from Mumbai and a rewarding frequent flyer programme.

Air India is a hit or miss, either it’s too good or too bad.

Indigo is the Air Asia of India, too strict low cost. I don’t prefer any airline which flies from Mumbai T1.

TwistedLemon says:

My favourite indian carrier has to be Jet airways, flown many times this year and frankly have only had one bad experience and that too never in business. The best part is their frequent flyer program and how easy it is to earn and retain status!

Prateek Basu says:

Pleasantly surprised! There are so many negative stories about AI that it was nice to hear about a positive experience for a change. I’m still going to wait and watch for sustained proof of improvement, but thanks to you I’ll now be keeping an eye on AI instead of trying to avoid the airline.

Can we have an international leg with AI please?

Akash Poddar says:

My favourite airline in India is jet airways

Ross Wallace says:

First of all, the bed bugs issue is not a rumour!! It’s been in the news for quite sometime now and I am glad you didn’t go through it!! Vistara beats any airline now domestically where service and OTP is concerned!

Reeze Vlog says:

as for now, better than Malaysia Airline, ey Josh….. 😛

Donald Knowles says:

I haven’t flown with any Indian airlines .
I do like Josh Cahill

Raja Bodo says:

Synopsis Of Indian Railways says:

TwistedLemon says:

Terminal 2 is also a domestic terminal, with an international section. You flew through the international section as this flight continues onwards to shanghai. You may have even noticed that there was a big D on your boarding card indicating you were a domestic passenger on an international flight.

AIPC says:

There is a paid PR against AirIndia to show AirIndia into bad limelight. All naxal goons like wire, quint, ndtv, abpnews, print etc do anti AirIndia propaganda and spread rumors. We Indian know that its not true. AirIndia Rocks

Safiq Ali Patel says:

I flew Air India not too long ago. It was a good flight. The food was excellent and the service fine. ❤️❣️

Ashesh Choudhury says:

Please try Vistara!
