Business class on a low-cost carrier! How does it compare? Is it worth it? Watch this review to find out.

Jetstar is the low-cost subsidiary of Qantas. They operate both the Airbus A320 and the Boeing 787 – my advice is avoid the A320 at all costs. However the 787 is another story – especially in business class.

This Jetstar Business Class flight review covers my flight back from Bali to Melbourne. It includes the business class lounge at Denpasar Airport, boarding, take-off, the Jetstar business class seat and inflight service.

jjaus says:

That’s domestic business class IMO.

Ingrid Dubbel says:

That okabe was not clean.

Oliver ILLI says:

you didn’t kiss your wife…… but then doing three things at the same time, holding a glass, the camera and a kiss would’ve been way too much for a man 🙂
but I love your reports, short, informative, with humour and to the point. Thanks a lot Dennis.

OliverTravels says:

Very nice video. I enjoyed watching it.

Rich Ryan says:

Always like your videos, but really great when your wife makes an appearance! Happy flights and thanks for a great channel.

Matthew Chilov says:

Another great review Dennis!

Flyboys Aviation says:

Nice one!

Louis Chiu says:

Are they really champagne or procecco/cava?

Blake Edgington - Airborne says:

Great review Dennis. Pretty disappointing when basic cleanliness is lacking on an airline. Oh and you are definitely punching above your weight with your lovely wife!

Kiwi NZL says:

I wander when was the last time that cabin had a top-to-toe full clean,re that grubby power point.,was pretty gross.Awesome flight review thanks Dennis,i’m going to be on Qantas’s 737-800 in Christmas week flying to Brisbane from NZ.,but it won’t be in business class though!.

The Parks says:

Listen to that air hostess’ bogan twang “I think sooooooooOOOoOOOoo”

Jeb Brooks says:

Nice one, Dennis! Julie looks like she’s happy in Business Class!

Ben Barrett says:

It looks more comparable to a Premium Economy on a major airline than, or European short-haul Business class.

Joanne Roberts says:

how much $?

Ian Hamilton says:

A shout out to Mrs Bunnik !

Stephen McDonald says:

Hi Dennis, great video as always. I was recently in the Premier Lounge and found it to be overcrowded, noisy, dirty and very hard to get a seat with very average food and drink.

James Roussell says:

Only downside about jetstar’s international services using the 787, is that majority of crew on board are Thai cabin crew who are paid considerably less than their fellow Australian cabin crew. A poor move by jetstar in order to cut costs.

MonstaAU says:

Hey Dennis, do you have a my.flightradar profile or similar that shows us where you have flown? Must be a pretty insane set of stats and sectors on the map.

Michael B says:

Hi Dennis , this is a much better option to fly Jetstar than the Bintang express to Bali economy , it looks surprisingly really good, when the seat in front reclines, does it feel in your space ? Thanks for yet another brilliant review , indeed my favourite. Thank you

Angus McLay says:

please do flydubai business class, new and old style.

Anthony Kernich says:

That’s better than that awful Air NZ business class

Mike Piano says:

Jetstar may call it business class – but its really Premium Economy (with the exception of lounge access) – but it doesn’t entice me – although its a million times batter than Jetstar economy. Well produced video nonetheless

A. B. says:

Great video Dennis! On a recent trip to America we flew Jetblue Mint Class Vegas to JFK. The experience was fantastic and the seats, meals and entertainment would rival some long haul business class. While this Jetstar experience looked good they should pay attention to the Mint Class experience and price!

Mike Petitti says:

Dennis – I love your videos/reviews. Having recently flown JQ Biz class from DPS to SYD myself, I think the review is spot on with the exception of the lounge. I found it pretty shabby and over crowded (especially during the Sunday night departures). Anyway, please keep up the good work.

Daniel Hammond says:

It looked comfortable, but the filthy power points would worry me about what might be wrong with the unseen technicalities of the aircraft!

David G says:

Just an FYI: Michael Klim created a skin care product Milk. Genius

Karl P says:

I didn’t realise Jetstar had the 787. Wow. I’ve flown Jetstar from Perth to Melbourne and was quite pleased, it was better than I expected at the price.

TravelJAM says:

Why are power points under plane seats always so disgusting?! Great review as always Dennis!
