China Eastern Airlines (http://us.ceair.com/en/) is China’s second largest airline and they connect LA, San Francisco, Chicago, NYC and Honolulu with Shanghai (and then onto over 200 destinations across Asia). They have two daily flights from LAX and offer some seriously luxurious premium services. Aside from a First Class cabin filled with private suites, they have a very comfortable Business Class section with a 1-2-1 configuration. The airline flies new Boeing 777-300ER aircraft and seats are pod-like with leather seating surfaces. Each seat has aisle access, a large IFE screen and becomes a flat bed.
Beyond the fancy seats, China Eastern Business Class travelers have access to the Korean Airlines (SkyTeam) lounge at LAX and the airline’s large lounge at PVG. Business Class travelers also get free limo service to and from the airport in the US gateway cities and in Shanghai and / or a free MagLev train ticket into the city from the airport.
